Mike is a recruiting executive with 30+ years of experience across the Search, Project and RPO sectors. He is presently the owner and co-founder of SI Professional Search. Just prior to the founding of SI Professional Search, he was a Senior Advisor to the highly respected Korn Ferry Professional Search team and their effort to grow its Military Center of Excellence. Prior to his work at Korn Ferry, he was the CEO of Orion Talent where he led the company to its industry-leading position in the military recruiting sector and the #1 rank in HRO’s Mid-market RPO Bakers Dozen.
After starting as a military officer recruiter at Orion Talent, Mike held virtually every position within the company culminating in the CEO role where his organic and M&A strategies led to the eventual sale of Orion prior to his exit from the business. His favorite role however was on the front-line—recruiting outstanding military leaders for a diverse range of clients. As a source of pride, many of his military placements have risen to the C-Suite level at some of the best companies in North America.
After graduating from Marquette University, Mike served seven years with the United States Marine Corps as a flight officer in its fighter-reconnaissance squadron, and then as an officer recruiter where he had his first contact with recruiting. He currently lives near Austin, TX with his wife Cheryl and has three children living and working in the Austin area.

Tim Isacco is a recruiting executive and veteran advocate. He has worked in the talent acquisition space for the last 30 years. He is presently the owner and cofounder of SI Professional Search specializing in the placement of mid level, executives and military background candidates. Prior to founding SI Professional Search, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Orion Talent. Tim served in many different operational positions, including sales, Regional Manager, and VP of Sales before becoming COO. During his time at Orion Talent, the company placed over 100,000 veterans. Tim was involved in many veteran initiatives including the White House-sponsored program, Joining Forces. He also helped shape and form the company’s Military Talent Program model that scaled opportunities for veterans to get hired by Fortune 500 companies. Engagements included Siemens, Intel, Honeywell, Space X, and Amazon.
Tim graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1988 and served as an Infantry Officer on assignments including Germany and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is an eighth generation army officer and his family legacy includes a Medal of Honor recipient and the rank of 4-star General. Tim currently lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife (who served) and has three children, two of which represent the 9th generation of service to our country.
